Sprockets are wheels designed with a particular contour, outfitted with teeth or cogs that interlock with chains, tracks, or materials that are punctured or recessed. The term 'sprocket' is typically used for any wheel that has radial teeth that mesh with a chain as it rolls over them.

These sprockets can be installed at either the leading or trailing end of a vehicle, or sometimes at both ends. In some mechanisms, an additional, elevated sprocket may be incorporated to actuate the track.

G33MnCrMo5, G33Mn4, SCMnCr4B, ZG40Mn, and ZG35Mn materials are used for sprocket depending on the model, size and working conditions. The surface hardness reaches HRC48-54 with minimum hardness depth between 5-10mm(HRC45) after the heat treatment process.
