The 312GM700 (TG171.5B-8-700, 171.5mm pitch) is designed for 312 through 312C models. CAT 312D and newer models may use different track chain specifications. Please verify your machine's pitch measurement.

Both fit CAT312 excavators but differ in width: 312GM700 is 700mm wide while 312GM770 is 770mm wide. The wider 770mm version provides better flotation on soft ground.
